Dear Valued Family Service Clients and Supporters:
For the safety and well-being of our clients and employees, Family Service moved to a telehealth counseling model in March of this year. We are using a HIPAA compliant Zoom platform to reach the majority of our clients. In situations where video conferencing is not an option, our therapists are conducting sessions by telephone. We remain steadfastly committed to meeting the needs of our clients and the greater community during this unprecedented time.
Family Service is actively accepting NEW CLIENTS. If you or someone you know is in need of counseling support, our dedicated clinicians are eager to work with you. Please call any one of our offices to make an appointment.
We are frequently asked when face to face sessions will resume in our clinic locations. Family service is closely monitoring information coming from the State of Wisconsin, CDC and other sources. When the time comes to open our clinics to clients, we will have multiple safety precautions in place to protect the health of clients and employees. As of this communication we have not set a date for reopening.
It is important to highlight other Family Service offerings other than mental health services. The C.A.R.E. Center at the Big Yellow House has continued to provide in person and virtual forensic interviews of children since the pandemic began. Our psychoeducational groups have been successfully convening via Zoom since April. The Children Cope with Divorce Class resumes at the end of July with smaller class sizes and multiple safety measures in place.
At Family Service, we are passionate about the well-being of individuals, families and the community. We recognize that stressors related to this global health crisis can impact our ability to care for ourselves and the ones we love. If you need assistance during this time, please call us at 262-547-5567 during our business hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. We can guide you to resources available within Family Service and the greater community.
