Parenting is a very rewarding but challenging job!
Parenting is even more difficult when a family is facing the changes associated with the ending of a marriage or intimate partner relationship. At such a time, parenting skills may become "clouded” by emotional distress and grief.
Cooperative Parenting Center programs help parents and children develop skills and find healing so there is increased focus, confidence and growth in the parent-child relationship.
We offer the following programs.
Children Cope With Divorce –
educational seminar for divorcing parents
Rollercoasters–
helps children adjust to parental divorce
Co-Parenting After Divorce –
skill-building for co-parents
Our Cooperative Parenting services are based on state-of-the-art research and years of experience working with adults and children facing the challenges of family change caused by divorce or separation.
The effects of divorce or separation on children can be negative and potentially long-term.
